The Melegatti Classico Colomba is traditionally characterized by fresh eggs, butter, candied fruit and obviously the slow natural leavening of Mother Yeast Melegatti 1894. A soft Colomba made tasty by a delicious covering of sugar and almond icing, granulated sugar and whole almonds.
